The joint Land Registry is a modern procedure in which the property is registered under the name of more than one person at the same time, This is one of the new ways to invest in the Turkish real estate market, where middle class people can jointly own property in Turkey.
In this type of contract, the property is registered under the name of more than one person in equal ratios or the percentages of ownership of the property are predetermined between partners.
The shareholder in this type of joint real estate contract cannot sell his share without the consent of other partners, in addition to the need of obtaining the consent of partners during the transfer of ownership of the relevant stake in the Directorate of Real Estate Records.
