He also explained that relations between the two countries have entered a new phase with the visit of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed to Ankara last November.

Agreements between Turkey and the UAE
Turkish sources said that the two countries are expected to start formal negotiations on huge trade agreements and to sign memoranda of understanding in the areas of climate, industry, advanced technology, health, and agriculture.
These sources added that the two parties are also expected to sign a letter of intent to start cooperation meetings in the defense industry sector, as well as a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation.
During the visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to Turkey, a ten billion dollar fund was established to support investments in Turkey, in a move that came after the Turkish lira recorded a significant decline against the dollar since late 2021.
